I have got a new server running Windows 2008 and Exchange 2007 (both 64 bit) and need to install our AV solution to this - Trend Micro version 8.  I have downloaded the latest version from the Trend site but still no joy.

The following file is the SXStrace log which we generated running the process but the process keeps stopping at 0% and restarting the server.

Has anyone else got these to work together successfully?

I finally sorted this and the cuplrit was not what we expected.  The version is 64 bit Win2k8 - but the RAID controller driver (which was meant to be) was not the right on.  Caused the server to crash and forced a rebuild of the system drive.

Even having logs looked at by our Trend partner they could see nothing wrong and why it had been crashing.

Having done that and installed a new driver from HP - it works a dream now.  And I now have a proven disaster recovery plan for our email system as well from this!!!
