Problem mailing attachment since upgrade to 8.0.2 client
I have recently updated to Notes CLient 8.0.2 from 7.0.2.
I e-mail some of the documents in my database using the @MailSend command.
Since the upgrade any message where there is an attachment in the richtext mail body field is attached when sent and any attachment in the MIME part of the document (usually represented by a grey frame line in the footer of the document isn't getting attached when sent?
I have messed with the MIME send formats on the server and some of the server ini settings to no avail?
What is going on?

That's a good call but we are using Notes 7.0.2 server still

From the server configurations document - MIME Tab | Conversion Options | Outbound
Change Option 'message content': from Notes to Plain Text
To: from Notes to Plain Text and HTML
This now represents the attachment found in the MIME part of the document in Outlook. What I don't understand though is that we have never had to set this server option in the past. Is there something releated to this setting in the client that needs to be changed when upgrading?

I have done a through investigation into this now and there is a fundamental problem:
Analysing the document placed in the outgoing mail box before send to the server in both the 7 and the 8 client despite the mail send command being sent from the same document the client has created them differently.
In notes 8 there are 7 body parts on the document properties
In notes 7 there are 8 body parts on the document properties
Both messages were created from the same database and document on the server using the same form. So there is clearly a difference in the way notes 7 and notes 8 have interpreted the document to its mime format?
Is this a know bug?
Any information would be greatly appreciated as if this can't be solved I may have to revert 70 PC's to the Notes 7 client.

I have re-looked at the original document for this.
There are two attachments in the document - one gets attached to the mime e-mail created when running @MailSend and one dosen't
The one that dosen't is not associated with a richtextitem parent, it only exists as a $file on the document.
Have you come across any problems where LOtus Notes 7 CLient attaches everything and Lotus Notes 8 Client only attaches explicilty embedded objects.
If I copy the item from below the HR line to the main body field it attaches when the mime e-mail is created.
