Hi,

I'm trying to utilize the IOS firewall feature on my ASR 1002, though it doesn't appear to be available.  I expect to (at leas) do an 'ip inspect' but that is not a valid command option.

Also, if I am running an IOS firewall, shouldn't SDM be an option to configure the firewall portion of the router?

Oh, I did purchase the RTU firewall option (FLASR1-FW-RTU), though I'm not sure how to verify if it is actually enabled.  I asked my Cisco account rep and he stated that it is enabled but failed to tell me how to verify it was enabled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I belive that the ASR series only support Zone based firewall and not the classic inspect firewall.
