I have just installed SP2 for Windows 2003.  My client machines (Manually assigned IP's), take forever to login (All the same boxes W2K).

Are you sure SP2 is the problem? I have SP2 installed (a long time ago) at all my clients and have no problems. I use predominantly DHCP (no value any more in static address inside a network) but I have some statically assigned devices and no issues with these.

Windows 2000 is now long out of support, and long in the tooth, but they should be able to login without issue. I only have one such box anymore at a client and it logs in normally.

Having said that, SP2 lives in Add/Remove programs and should be uninstallable from there.

I do know that SP2 this is the issue as I immediately had this problem after I did the restart after the update process.  There were no other changes made to the server box, prior or following the update.
