Microsoft Exchange e-mail error

A user sends a meeting request and receves the following error from an old deleted user account.
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:      Capex Review
      Sent:      19/05/09 10:08 AM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

      Wayne Howells on 19/05/09 10:08 AM
            The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to.  Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.
            <wacasrv04.wacamain.waca.com.au #5.1.1>
I am unable to locate the user and am unable to fix the problem any sujestions?

one of the recipients of the meeting request probably has wayne howells as a delegate or did at some point.  if that's the case, then delete wayne from the delegate list.  if the list doesn't show wayne any longer, add a temporary delegate and delete the temporary delegate afterwards; just to overwrite it.  send a test meeting.
