We have a bunch of xp machines here which dont have Remote Registry Service running at all. They were installed with some kind of windows lite which didnt include default service.

We need to run Remote Registry Service  on the machines so they can work with our patch management solution.

How do I go about installing this service on these machines?

Error 1083: THe executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service
