MS Exchange 2007 Storage group permissions within Backup exec V12.0

The issue we're having is that an existing back up job has started failing due to the addition of a third MS Storage group being added within Exchange 2007.
The back up account is set as Exchange Organization Admin, has its own mailbox, and is not hidden from the address lists, in addition to this we use GRT for the mailbox backup.
In addition to this i have removed and re-instated access for the said account, with no success.
the job is persistently failing.
The issue is not replicated on the first two storage groups.
Any input on this is much appreciated as even Symantec enterprise support have failed to resolve this.

Is it a CCR. When you set the Third Storage Group does it has anything like LCR or SRC enabled.

The Storage group in question is used to Journal all mail.  it is setup exactly the same as  the first two storage groups, yet they are processed without any errors......
