I am trying to use Cisco SDM on a 2811 and 2821 ISR. It is reaching the stage to enter credientals and it says a window would open but nothing happens. What is the way to get the Cisco SDM to work. Do i need anything installed on the router, currently the flash only has the IOS on it. I am hoping to run the SDM from the setup on my PC as i dont think there is any room on the flash. I alredy has IP HTTP SERVER command running on the router. but i dont know why the SDM is not loading.

Maybe you have a pop-up blocker blocking something.

Rather than explain what all needs to be done to use SDM, can you paste in your config so I can take a look at it and see if everything is setup correctly.

I resolved it. My laptop was running the latest version of JAVA. Apparantly the SDM uses an older version. When i checked the logs for the java i saw the errors and uninstalled and then installed an older version and now everything works. Much thanks.
