Sync GAL with user Contacts

I am looking for a way to sync my users contact list with entries in our GAL.  The situation is that I have an application on our phones that can grab the user's Contacts folder and sync it with the phone's contact list.  Unfortunately it does not do this with the Exchange GAL.
So, I would like to take our GAL entries and push them to each user's contacts folder, which will then get pushed to everyone's phone so they have our internal contact information.  I would also like to be able to keep this up to date so that if a GAL entry is removed to added, I can occasionally 'sync' the GAL with everyone's Contacts folder.
Thanks very much for your time and consideration.

Thanks for the article.  I have done this and it works fine for an individual case but I am looking for something where the user isn't involved and (though less important) will synchronize the contacts when there are changes to the GAL.
