Bouncing Mail off SMTP Connector in Exchange 2007

I have set up a couple of Hub Transport receive connectors, 1 is for printers to report to a main mailbox that is monitored, 2 is for a database that is sending mail to external sources for reply.  I have #1 working correctly.  $2 is giving the following error in the database.  This is Apache running UniData.  The mail script is pointed at the Exchange server ip.  I do not have a way to make it authenticate to the server for sending the mail.  What is the best way to cause this to work properly?

Thanks

Create a send connector for authenticated realy, if you want to send email out.

Disregard my latest post.  Found that my programmer was using a virtual machine that I was unaware about.  When using the test environment all worked.  Moved to production with same results.
