BCC and graphics in internet email
Posted on 2009-05-19
Good afternoon expert.
Recently I was down sized by a large corporation. I used the Exchange/Outlook 2003
email system to send amail balsts to a professional orgaization for which I am an officer,
International Institute of Business Analysts. So I tried sending the email blast from my
home using first NetAddress and then Yahoo. There were two functionalitites that the Exchange server gave me that not even the Netaddress, which I pay five bucks a month for,
provides. There is no way to insert a graphic in the message.
So ifigured I would compose the message without the graphics using the rich text editor feature. Then I would send input the five hundred email address list into the BCC textbox,
as I had in the coporation becuase this prevents the recipients from seeing the recipient
list and misusung the email address list.
The Net address and Yahoo clients do not have either of the features so I set up the Outlook client to use the SMTP and POP servers at NetAddress and sent my blast. But every time I sent it I got a message about the TCPIP connection beong interrupted.
Is there an email service, besides something like Constant Contact, available that allows blind carbon copy and graphics in the email body?
