AS2 FLVPlayback issue

I am using the FLVPlayback component in CS3, and the file is AS2 (legacy code that can't be updated).

There are 9 video files, each in its own frame. each frame has a "stop();". In the contentPath, there are 9 different .flv files. There are nine buttons that, when clicked, lead to the nine frames.

The first video plays as expected. All other frames show nothing. I added a trace to each frame to make sure I was indeed reaching the correct frames, and I was.

Why is the first video playing, but none of the rest?

Hi,
You can clear the path in your panel and try to control contentPath from AS. So, after each of the stop() codes, write your new path :
yourFLVPlayerInstance.contentPath = "yourvideo1.flv";

does your component exist in all your frames
if so thats probably your problem
you dont' need to have muiltiple frames, just change the contentPath as biyik said.
if you need to use frames for other reasons, make sure the component spans all those frames rather than having multiple keyframes.

how are you doing this bit?

Figured out the issue - needed to have each flv in its own layer. Duh!
