If I remember right you should be able to either configure it &nbsp;via a serial cable without a password, or interupt the boot process.<br />

here a link to the documentation to it, it says that there is no default password (blank) try the good old enter key to see if you can get in.<br />

I have an unused 3com 3824 3C17400 switch that needs to be reset to default settings before being used. &nbsp;Before I am able to do this I am prompted for a password. &nbsp;The password I had been provided with by previous IT staff does not work. &nbsp;Is there a way around this?
