Xalan library:
http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/

Explanation - how to use XML with C++:

I don't know what happened with that DXL toolkit, it was a long time ago (R4 and R5 if I remember correctly), maybe it was made obsolete.

It's tricky, since DXL toolkit was transfered inside Lotus platform there's no C++ support for that objects.
If I had to do that, I would create LotusScript agent that does the job inside Domino Designer and then C++ DLL that would have few functions for creating agent param document and calling an agent.

To do it all inside C++, you would have to use Xalan/Xerces C support to create LNNotesDocument fields using Domino's Document Type Definition (DTD files are located inside Data\xmlschemas\ folder).

There are plenty of information in the links I posted earlier, especially these:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/xml/library/x-xercc/
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/xml/library/x-xercc2/

>>I would create LotusScript agent that does the job inside Domino Designer and then C++ DLL that would have few functions for creating agent param document and calling an agent.

i am able to import the dxl file using lotus script code
now i want to execute that code and dxl file using an agent crated through c plus plus api
( (i.e)without using domino designer method to create an agent.) )

can you send me a sample

how to do this using c plus plus api ?

i.e how to create an agent having lotus script code and running it in background

without using domino designer method to create an agent.
