FTP sites access isue in ISA 2004 setup

Error while accessing FTP sites in a ISA 2004 setup

So, if you are sure, that FTP work in general (i.e. from other clients), then check if active or passive FTP is used within the browser settings. Try to change this, if you get the sites.

If you get the timeout only for a few or single FTP site, it is more an issue of the FTP site, maybe slow performance or the server is overloaded.

IE8 has a connection verifier tool, which can be used to check connectivity for FTP in general.

Thanks Bembi,
This is issue is through out the network where we are having a mixture of all IE versions and the issue is not client specific. I have tried the same with a lot of sites and the issue is still the same.
