Terminal Server user issues with duplex printing and non duplex printing

I have a user who is trying to print single sided from MS Word and MS Excel. No matter what changes we make to the printer (Lexmark e250dn) we still end up getting double sided printing. We have tried printing to another printer with the same results (lexmark t640n)

From memory I believe the Lexmark printers have a setting in their network configuration that allows you to turn on/off duplex for print jobs.

Try browsing to the IP address of the printer with a web browser, and look through the settings.

Then, turn on duplex in the windows printer configuration, which your user should be able to override on a per-job or per-session basis.

I forgot to mention, if this is not the cause, another solution could be to create a second logical printer (windows printer object) for that printer, but disable all duplex options in the printer configuration.
