Our router is broadcasting its log messages to one of our servers through UDP port 514 as Syslog messages. Does anyone have some code in C# which will log Syslog messages into a text file? Or is there a freeware version of the WinSyslog daemon available?

Logging syslog messages

C# is an object-oriented programming language created in conjunction with Microsoft’s .NET framework. Compilation is usually done into the Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), which is then JIT-compiled to native code (and cached) during execution in the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
