messaging interface has returned an unknow error

user gets message when trying to send any e-mail; internal or external; "the messaging interface has returned an unknow error. if problem persists, restart outlook." user has restarted outlook and rebooted and gets same error. user can receive e-mail and is not at capacity for folder size. have deleted sent items and deleted deleted items. same result.

Try this:
-Open the calendar.
-Click on file and select print.
Under print, select page setup and uncheck the option TASK PAD.
Click OK and then print.

tried it. did not work. the option TASK PAD was not checked. i even toggled it but i get the same error.
