How do I get rid of message "sasnative32 not present, skipping autocheck"?
It come on when I boot or reboot but is only visible for a second or two.  Is this an operating system error, malware, or virus?  I tried to research it on the Internet but don't understand what I'm reading.  I am using Windows XP pro.

If you open the registry with REGEDIT.EXE, open the keys down to this path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

and click on the last subkey (Session Manager).  In the right pane you should see a name called BootExecute with a REG_MULTI_SZ value something like this:

autocheck autochk * sasnative32

Right click that BootExecute entry and choose Modify from the context menu.  Delete the "sasnative32" part of the value.
