Need suggestions for securing excel file on Windows Server 2003 system.

I would like to secure a proprietary excel file so that it can not be openned or used outside my server or directly connected workstations.  Server is running Windows Server 2003 SBE SP2.
Are there ad-ons available to provide this type security?  Any other suggestions?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

KCTS:  Do you happen to know if establishing the IRM would interfere with system backup software?  I am using Symantec Backup Exec.  A couple of people have cautioned me about IRM interfering with backup routines and I was wondering if you had any knowledge of such issues.  I will dive deeper into the IRM documentation will touch base with you next week.  Have a good weekend!  Thanks for the help.
