Hard drive performance

Have a sata2 raid 1 configuration for a sbs server 2003 running ms exchange, an sql 2005 express all for about ten users. In terms of performance monitoring, what are benchmark figures that I need to be concerned of for:

Disk write queue length
Disk read queue length
Pages / sec

I am using hound dog (not sure if anyone knows what it is) but it keeps sending me alerts.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Monitor write queue length. If it is consistently high (>8), and response time is consistently > 20msec, then you most likely need to change to a RAID 1/0 or RAID 5 set with more physical discs.

Also keep an eye on Physical Disk Writes/sec and Physical Disk Reads/sec. You'll probably get a maximum of 120 I/O per second - consistently much more than that, and you'll see response time go up and the queue lengths get longer.
