From what I have read on newsgroups, etc.  I am getting the impression that it is an AD related issue.  Any help with this is appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try following the METHOD2 from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q319886

It may be much clearer.

The first link has been moved and the owner hasn't completed migration to the new site/domain.  I'll go through the archive.
