can't reply to meeting invitations from blackberry

When I send a meeting invitation to someone's Blackberry, accepting the meeting generates an error: "message included an invalid address."

I created a calendar item in Outlook and sent an invitation to a user with a Blackberry. I tried this with a user using BES and another with BIS configured for OWA. Also, this happens in both Exchange 2003 and 2007. Replying to an invitation always renders: "error: Message included an invalid address." When I send myself a regular email from these addresses and reply, it works fine.

To resolve the issue, I installed the latest firmware to the Blackberry. I turned off LDAP search and restarted the blackberry controller service, as suggested here: (Microsoft hotfix 929439 did not apply). I made sure the email message count was below 900, moved >8mb messages to a subfolder of the inbox, checked to make sure the OWA email account name was the same as the sender's email address, checked to make sure the integrated email address matches the Sent From field, made sure the Exchange storage limit hasn't been reached, and made sure the account was using the full domain\username structure, as suggested here:

I also removed the battery and restarted the device. I confirmed the email address and CC address were correct on my carrier's BIS site.

And still, I have the same problem.

How can this be resolved?

Hi, can you please repeat this process and then review the MAGT log located in |program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs.

Also is this error occurring for all users or just yourself?

It happens with all users, I attached the log file. I sent a couplet of test invitations from another user to myself around 5:15pm to 5:30pm. The subjects in the invitations were: test meeting and test #2. Sorry for the delay in response.
