Flash AS3 - allow clicking through movie clip that is ontop of another movie clip

Hi, I have a menu I created dynamically with rectangular buttons with action script. I then added 4 graphic logos on top each button and set them as movie clips on the main timeline. How can I stop my logos for each button from blocking my menu button mouse events?

My buttons will light up,  but once you get near or on the graphic logo on the edge of the button my button will stop reacting to the mouse events.
Send to back doesn't work. I just want to be able to click through my logo&have my button react to mouse events.

Hope this makes sense?
