There doesn't seem to be a method or property by which to change via VB code the selected element of a ComboBox. Anyone knows a trick to accomplish this?

me.comboboxname = "a value from the list"
....don't include the  double quotes if the value is a number field...
me.cboComboBox = me.cboComboBox.Column(0,0) will set the value of the combo to the first value in the list (assumes that first column is the bound column of the combo)
me.cboComboBox = me.cboComboBox.Column(0,1)  first row
me.cboComboBox = me.cboComboBox.Column(0,2) second row etc

Me.YourComboBoxName = Me.YourComboBoxName.ItemData(N)

where N is the number of the row you want selected ... and is zero based relative to the physical rows.

eg ... ItemData(0) = row 1 and so on.
