Anyone used Solar Winds Orion 9?

We have an intermittant slow down of our broadband connection and have been reccomended to install Solar Winds Orion 9 and Network Traffic Monitor.  As it needs to be installed on one of our servers as it needs IIS I wanted to know if anyone has used it before and is it ok to put on a Windows Server 2003 x64 R2 server?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Orion is a nice application suite but its purpose is of a NMS with configuration management and other features. For diagnostics more recommended tool is a protocol analyzer like Wireshark which can sniff and decode the network packets.

Incase you are new to wireshark;

Check out for broadcasts and other traffic. Now comming back to your origional query, Orion v9 is a very decent NMS. We deployed it in for a customer's DataCenter. You can Install it on 2003 server. We also installed it on Windows 2003.
