Symantec backup Exec

Hi all,
How are you? I would like to ask you how can I export the configuration and settings (schedules etc) from Symantec Backup Exec 11d v11.0 rev 7170, so that I install the software on another server.

Can you please guide me trough?

Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/280710.htm should help. This is a document for version 10.x, but the procedure is pretty much the same. The only difference will be the registry locations and file system paths. They will refer to Symantec instead of Veritas.

Otherwise you can review http://www.experts-exchange.com/Storage/Backup_Restore/Backup_Exec/Q_22800550.html as well. And if the server service doesn't come up, don't forget to follow my very last comment in that article about the DataPartitionGUID registry key.
