Where can I find my First Mailbox store as it is not listed in EMC?

Hi

I am tyrying solve a VSS writers error I'm getting in BA 12.5. I need to dismount the first and second mailbox store, however I cannot find them under EMC. Please see attached screen shot. Why can't I see them? I have rebooted the server but still no sign of them.
I'm using Exchange 2007 with SBS08 all updates are applied.
Can anyone help?

Sorry I selected MS Enterprise Zone and not MS Exchange zone!

In the Management shell do this command:

Get-StorageGroup
This will list the names for the Storage groups the server has.

Get-MailboxDatabase
This will list the mailbox database

Dismount-Database "My Database"
This will Dismount the database.

Good Luck!

Can you verify that the Exchange services are running .
If still not then go to ADSIEDIT and verify that we can see the stores there .
As far as i see may be there is no SG or Store if everything is fine try creating a new one and verify

Somebody has messed with the ADSIEDIT.
IF you go to ADSIEDIT under the AG  -> Servers object what all do you see ? Screen shot would do great .
Ohk just a moment what account are you logged in with ?
Also try running a command
Control keymgr.dll and see if there is any cache information out there ?
If everything is fine let me know fast as i have to leave for the day .....
That looks like you don't have the correct permissions or a service isn't running.
Are you logged in as Administrator, or an equivalent?

Simon.
Hi Rancy

- Please see screen shot of ASIEDIT attached.

- Logging in as CHCADMIN which has all rights as the Administrator account.

- There is one cached cred for a user account, shall I remove it?

Mestha,
- Logged on account is the domain admin, local admin etc... account.

- All relevant services are running.

Is it a memebr of the Exchange Organization Admin group that is in ADUC in the Microsoft Exchange Security Group
Yep, it's a member of all Exchange groups bar the Exchange View Only AdminRole.
Open Sites and Services and click on the top option of Sites and Services and click on view and "Show Services Node".
Done, please see attached for screen shot.
Mailbox-Store-missing4.JPG
Now expand Administrative Groups  - > Servers - > Server Object
Both storage groups are listed. I checked the security tabs and the User 'CHCAdmin' that the server is logged in under has full rights on both.
hmmmm I just got this when going into "Organization Configuration"  in Exchange Console. See attached. However the user account is the Administrator in everyway bar the name!

Give your account full control on the ORG in Exchange. Also if you could share the memberof tab of the account that you are using in a screenshot.
The account has full control in the Org in Exchange.
See attached for the user rights.

Any updates on the issue ?
Hi Rancy,

Thank you, that was it. After I removed the cached cred, I did not get any error message and the mailboxes are back.
