Cannot hit a particular web site from within our building...

Hey all...

We are trying to hit a website www.mediacommainstreet.com (which resolves to 173.29.196.206) from inside our building but are unable to.  I am able to hit it from other networks however. If I ping it from within our building, it resolves properly.  We have a Watchguard 1250e firewall.  I checked the logs and when I try to hit the site, the firewall logs show that it is allowing the traffic to pass.  I have tried to hit it by name as well as ip to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Is there any reason they would be blocking you?

There should be no reason for them to block us considering that they are our customer and we handle their content authoring software.

Can you check in firebox system manager under blocked sites if the web site is listed; also if you see any logs which indicate that HTTP proxy is causing any issue.
Please provide details like the WG software version used and if you are using HTTP proxy/filter service.

Thank you.

Block sites tab is empty.

Using which service is the traffic going out, do you get any log entries in traffic monitor; is the website hosted behind the firewall itself, if yes, then you would not be able to access it using public IP/name when behind the firewall. Only if you are running in drop-in mode this would be possible.

Please provide more details.

Thank you.

All outbound ports are allowed.
The website is somewhere out in the cloud.

I checked the logs and when I try to hit the site, the firewall logs show that it is allowing the traffic to pass

Can you get to website if you bypass the FB; I want you to use the existing internet connection itself; looks like there might be an issue at the ISP end and the FB firewall might not be at fault at all.

Thank you.
