I'm looking for an ftp tool that will let me upload all files and folders below a given directory. It should NOT overwrite an existing folder on the remote computer but just add or overwrite new files within that directory.

A quick search found this which I haven't yet tried:

Classic FTP also features a handy "Mirror and Upload" tool, where by the click of a button it will scan the selected local folder and upload any files that do not exist in the selected remote folder. Classic FTP also allows you to synchronize navigation of a local folder with a remote folder, saving you time and reducing the risk of uploading to the wrong folder.

Has anyone used this tool? Any recommendations for other tools?

I'm using Windows XP. Thanks in advance.

Have you already checked out FileZilla?

I've been using it on PC and Mac for years now.

I discovered that Beyond Compare can compare against remote web files via ftp. Since it also lets me compare the source and destination and select just those I want, it's perfect for me. Thank you anyway for the suggestion.
