I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

try to follow this

http://www.petri.co.il/how-can-i-configure-rpc-over-https-on-exchange-2003-single-server-scenario.htm

Configure the RPC virtual directory in Internet Information Services

of course, try to uninstall and -reinstall again..

it doesnt matter it is a global catalog or not ... as it should work in a single server scenario
