i have the ACT 2008 software and use Outlook for emails.  How do I file the emails from Outlook to ACT.  How do I set it up in Outlook or is it done in ACT, if so how. Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You didn't say which ver of Outlook?
Also, preferably 10.02 or 10.03 of ACT!. If earlier, get the patch from act.com - needs to be same ver on every system sharing the database.

Assuming not Outlook 2007, see these:

http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=19204

That will auto attach outgoing emails to ACT! when sent from Outlook and allow you to manually attach incoming

ACT! 2009 also would allow Outlook Rules to auto-attach incoming and is easier to setup as all done from inside ACT!
