Issues with Trend officescan and Windows Terminal server\Profiles

We've been having issues with using trend officescan and terminal servers and we're wondering if anyone has had similar issues? We are using version 8 which apparently shouldn't have issues like version 7 did, however, we still are.
Basically when a user logs on it takes about 2-5 minutes to load a profile but as soon as we stop trend realtime scan in services it loads in about 5 seconds. It's loading a profile from another server and sometimes the issue is the profile server (we have to disable trend on) and sometimes the terminal server and sometimes both. If anyone has had similar problems or has any suggestions for a possible solution it would be most appreciated.
Also if someone is using a different anti virus product specifically for terminal services or has any recommendations it would also be appreciated.
