"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

mkrisz is right, robocopy would be best:

robocopy C:\files\to\be_copied D:\location\files_are_to_be_copied_to /e /copy:DATSO
That command will copy the folder location to the destination:
/e : copy including subfolders that are empty
/copy:DATSO: D- Data, A- Attributes, T- Time Stamp, S- Security, O- Owner information
You could also use /COPYALL which will also copy auditing information (copy:DATSOU)
