Another alternative which I can suggest is to connect to the ESX Host using WinSCP and navigate to the / (root)<br />
Under /, you will find a directory called VMIMAGES. This will contain an ISO of VMware Tools for different Operating Systems.<br />
Copy the ISO for FreeBSD and extract the contents of the ISO file.<br />
<br />
Now copy the extracted contents to your VM and install VMware Tools.<br />
<br />
Update the results.<br />
