Can I move McAffee from one hard disk to another?

Hi there,
Please could somebody advise whether (and how) I can move my McAffee Security Centre that I installed with my internet service providers disk from my G: Drive to my C: drive?  I currently have MS XP installed on both drives (in error) and need to delete the G: Drive which has the McAffee installed on it.  The actual CD that I installed it from isn't able to simple download it to the C: Drive again for some reason.

Thanks for any advice.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. I don't believe that you can. You would need to find all of the registry entries associated with McAffeee needs and point them to the new location. You best bet is just to uninstall and install something else. There are some free antivirus solutions that you could use until you purchase something else such as http://free.avg.com/.

Also if this was provided for free from your internet service provider perhaps give them a call and explain the situation. You may be able to download it for free. For instance I know that Comcast provides it for free to subscribers. You just login to the site using your Comcast account and you can download it again.
