How to autostart a program with Windows 7?

Hi,
1) I want to update the registry that programs will start when rebooting.
Which registry key should I update?
I want to be able to put it in the registry because I need to put parameters after the program name.
Does it work the same as with Windows XP?
Thanks.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Or you can create a shortcut with the parameters you want and place that in the startup folder in your start menu.
