Are you blocking DHCP in your iptables rules?

UDP/68 are bootp server packets
UDP/67 are bootp client packets

There's nothing in the logs you posted that indicates license activation is failing.

Nothing to do with the info you posted earlier....

Have you changed anything on the system that stopped your app working?

What is the application? Has the license expired and do you need to renew it?

Hi Jools,

Not really, I mean what we saw in the logs is that the machine was last accessed 4/22/09 and after that when we tried installing the fonts (ttf) on the machine and restarted the apps so that we could test the fonts, the apps never came up. Further investigating the logs of the app which I have pasted in the previos window. Found that the application i.e. Microstrategy  was showing the licence as inactive. On the contrary when we are activating the licence it is getting activated. But after some time the process related to microstrategy will die and if we check the status of the licence it would show as inactive.
Thanks.

Your logs are showing that the machine is trying to get an IP address via DHCP and can't, therefore you have no network connectivity and therefore it can't check your licence status with the software company.

Find out why your machine isn't getting an IP address and the rest will fix itself (or set a static IP on the machine).

Hi Experts,

This issue is resolved, Actually the citrix servers which the user's were using to login were moved from old IP address to the new one and those entries were not updated in the IPTABLES.
Second, actually this should be first, while generating the activation code there were options like ---
- are you an employee of the licensing company ?
so with this option we were selecting the option as no. But when we tried to generate the licence activation code with "yes" the licence status started showing "ACTIVE" status. Though the licence was active still the user's were not able to access the application so the first solution worked like a charm and I got a pat from my team lead!

BTW..... Thanks a lot for your comments.
