Is this good or bad? win32.trojan.agent

I'm having issues with AIM and the chat rooms. When I download and try to install the AIM 6.9, Adaware blocks win32.trojan.agent. Is this good or bad?
I'm asking this dumb question because nothing I try works for me to resolve my AIM and AIM chat room problems, so I ask in case there is a zillion to 1 chance that I should not block the win32.trojan.agent.

oooooooooo no, not SuperAntispyware, it screwed my machine up bad. It caused all links in e-mails or wherever to always open in an existing browser and close the webpage I was looking at in that browser which was 90% my hotmail account and it would log me out.
I finally got it fixed and now each clicked link opens in a NEW browser and does not disturb my existing browsers. This is the way I need it.

This is one side effect of using Superantispyware that I can not use.

to re-download  AIM again , clear out your internet temp files and also save the download as a differnet name otherwise it will reuse what's its downloaded before and if its corrupt it will still be corrupt

will try................!!

Maybe, you can use the Online scanner by Kaspersky for a deep scan of your PC, its based at: http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/virusscanner . Before you start the scan, click on 'Scan Settings' and use 'Extended Database' for the scan. Try that and see if you find anything of interest in your PC.

well Adaware blocked the win32.trojan.agent, so it seems not on my mechine.
I was wondering if blocking this was causing my AIM chat room problems.
I'll close this thread and post a new one on the AIM issue, since there are dozens of Town Square chat rooms and some I can access and some I can not. This could not be related to the blocking of win32.trojan.agent or all chat rooms would fail to work, I assume. I need an AOL, AIM, AIM chat room pro and can not find one on any forum. I'll try posting again on that subject.

I will still try the above.

I was able to download AIM 6.9 again and Adaware did not detect the win32.trojan.agent this time.
