Do I need to backup DS.LOG and CRL.LCK in Netware 6.5?

I'm using Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 from a Windows 2003 Server to backup a Netware 6.5 server and I'm getting an error saying files DS.LOG and CRL.LCK are in use and were skipped.  Do I need to be concerned about these files or can I safely exclude them?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The log file can be skipped safely, it is just log data. The CRL.LCK file is just a lock file, probably just 0 or 1 bytes, and can be skipped too.
