Thanks for the reply..I have seen these articles on the Citrix site but I'm still confused at how I can connect my CAG to my presenation server??

-I just want users to be able to typein the fqdn in the browser and then be presented with the login screen to my Citrix 4.0 pressentation server....

I guess I'm look for a quick how - to - guide...on how to setup my cag so the log in screen comes up for the Presentation server instead of the cag... please , please help

You need to have Web Interface --> create Accessplatfor site for your Citrix Farm --> check setting for secure access --> make it 'Gateway Direct' and define your STA server.

On Access Gateway you need to define FQDN of your Web Interface and also a STA server as define in Web Interface.

OK I open the Access Console for Presentation server and under Configuration tools I see web interface. In the right hand panel I do not see any thing listed thoug..

This will not break anything, however, you can still test it on virtual machine for safer side. You need to create AccessPlatform site by using 'Create a site' wizard in Web Interface.

I think it's good if you spend some time on reading and then, implment the solution. This will help you make a better choice and safe implementation.

Once I setup the webinterface how does my cag connect to my presentation 4.0 server?
How will the cad know the difference between and internal and external access to the web interface. I do not want internal using going throug the CAG

When you create WI site in Web Interface --> you define your Citrix Farm information - so from there WI-CAG-CPS all communicate.
If you go through the guides, you will find all your answers.

UNder the site create for the web interface I'm not seeing an option to setup the CAG???

I'm sorry for all of the question..but when I log onto my citrix server which is currently running the web interface, I click on "create site" the I'm give the three options for the type of site to create..

-Metaframe Presentation Server
-Program Neighborhood Agent Services
-Conferencing manager Gust attendee...

Kindly open the Web Interface guide (http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX113743 ) and check for topic "Configuring Sites Using the Console" --> This has steps-by-step guide.

I again ask you to go through the study guide as this will help you to understand the working and configuring. There are lots of steps involved which is not possible to mentioned here.

I have great news...I was FINALLY able to have my CAG connect to the web interface of my CitrixWEB server directly...I just have a couple of more questions..

1) How can I setup my CITRIXWEB server to allow usering to download the citrixclient from the web server instead of the citrix.com web site?

2) I never specified an STA server? What is this?

3) I'm using Windows 2000 AD should I enable single - sign on?

4) HOw can I force all external connection to go through the CAG while internal connection connect directly to the web server...

please stick with me on this...i'm almost there

I forgot to mention with the CAG I want to set it up so all employees connect through the CAG from the outside are presented with the web interface BUT I want all NON-Employess to be under tigher secuity. I want these users to be forced to install the VPN clients and ONLY has access to specific servers
