Looping through filelist

I have a list of files returned by this command:

find . -name 'event*' -type f

I need a shells script to loop through this list of files and, for each file, report how many lines begin with the string "Event"

What is the best way to achieve this please
1 Solution
find . -name 'event*' -type f | xargs grep -c '^Event'
