Why is there a black background on my windows xp shutdown dialog box?

Please could someone enlighten me as to why the background to my shutdown dialog box now has a black bar behind the words "windows is shutting down..."  but my other xp computers which are also updated regularly do not? I am just worried that this is some sign of malware that I have never heard of. Windows seems otherwise to be behaving normally. I am running XP Home  (service pack 3). many thanks.

I have seen this before an it is nothing to worrie about. It is simply a glitch while shutting down windows. If a program is forced to close upon shutdown this can happen sometimes.

I have also seen this happen after join a computer to the domain.
If you are still worried that it could be some sort of Malware you can use the following software to do a scan.
Malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

Hope this helps
