Why don't I have the ACT11demo.PAD database?

I just installed ACT 2009 on my computer. I'm reading a book on it and want to open the ACT11demo.PAD database to do the exercises. When I click on File->Open Database, it's not there! What should I do? The program seemed to install correctly.

I tried to find the database on the CD, but I couldn't

What folder opens when you go File | open? It's usually in:

My Documents - ACT\ACT for Windows 11\Databases

If not, have you tried a search in Windows for PAD?
Hi There,

Try the shared documents folders,
Vista: C:\Users\Public\Documents\ACT\ACT for Windows 11\Databases
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Act\Act for Windows\Databases

I ended up calling ACT technical support. There was actually a problem with the database, and the tech had to replace it with the demo from the CD. You guys could never have known this, so I'll split the points between you.

Thank you for trying to help me!
