Allowing certain program
Hi,
Can someone please tell me how to allow some programs to work fine when Norton Antivirus is running. I have Norton 2009 version installed on my system.
When I copy an exe to the system, Norton Antivirus deletes the it.
In addition to this I want some programs to connect to Internet without turning off Norton Internet security 2009 version. Please let me know how can I achieve both the above functionalities.

If Norton antivirus is deleting the exe file then it could be a virus as well. Try uploading that file on www.virustotal.com for a scan with other antiviruses as well to make sure that its not a false-positive.

I know this program is not a virus. I have written an exe that runs and creates a key in registry of my system. The key stores local database (SQL Server) ID and password. ID and password are encrypted.
I am basically a developer.
Please suggest.
