hnael--Perhaps of help
http://help.wugnet.com/windows/svchost-exe-Application-Error-ftopict524485.html  which leads to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927891/  which is a link from
If that does not help, see
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsdebug/thread/287d95a2-8f64-437b-9d76-912febee58fd
And in some cases you have to uninstall any third party Toolbar (like Google Toolbar).

Check for Conficker infection by downloading this tool and running on all 3 PCs that you have:

http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

Alternatively, you can download the Stinger Tool from McAfee which will also remove Conficker and its variants:

http://vil.nai.com/vil/conficker_stinger/S.T.I.N.G.E.R.exe

Hope it helps.

10 Tips to Protect Your Business from Ransomware

Did you know that ransomware is the most widespread, destructive malware in the world today? It accounts for 39% of all security breaches, with ransomware gangsters projected to make $11.5B in profits from online extortion by 2019.

I am not sure about RegCure tools. I haven't used it and cannot comment on it. If you are looking for a registry cleaner then you can use CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com). I've used it on my laptop and haven't had a problem, and its completely free as well.

hnael--You may have an infection, but did you try the suggestions in my post?  Including uninstalling any other Toolbar.
(please disregard the "which is a link from")
P.S.  How did Regcure enter the discussion?  It is a questionable program.  It may suggest you have infection when you don't,and wants you to pay for eliminating what it "finds". http://www.google.com/search?q=regcure&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7ADBF

Regcure enter the discussion when I tried the link on 24469090 thread (first comment ), but I did not use it because as u mentioned they ask you to buy it pretending there is infection into the system when there is none , at the moment I got a cd that stored something called HAL and manged to get red of the error , so I am not really sure if that solve it or not ? but still need to know what cause this to happen , at the moment system is running ok except when I try to go to dell website and try to download drivers for the system it start few second the download then  get a message related to IE &  does not accept to download even though I am connected to the dell website . I am going to leave it running till tommorrow because it is 2pm here & want to sleep , I will tel you what is happen tommorrow ....thks alot .

Hi , It seems system is running fine , I used the recovery console utility & used the command chkdsk , after that things are working ok ..........so in this case what you guys think about the points ? please let me know ....sicne its related to unstable winxp system files.thks

hnael--Based on what you have reported malware does not seem to have been the problem.  And no-one suggested you use the Recovery Console (unless you did that after my last post), chkdsk or reinstall hal.dll.
It is possible a number of reboots solved things.  That happens.
Glad things are OK.
