How do I set up a VPN connection from my iPhone to my home Netgear DG834GT router which is running firmware version 1.02.19 ?
I use a Netgear DG834GT ADSL router at home to connect to the internet.
The most recent firmware update, 1.02.19 introduced VPN support for up to 5 clients ( see http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7734 ).
My Apple iPhone 3G supports the use of a VPN, either via L2TP, PPTP or IPSec. I'd like to connect to my home router from my iPhone through a VPN while I'm away from home.
Can anybody provide the exact steps needed to do this, both on the router and the iPhone?
Many thanks.

On the page I've given the link to in my question, it states that the new firmware has "Added support for up to five Virtual Private Network (VPN) endpoints, including a VPN wizard for easy configuration and a VPN status log. This feature can be found under the Advanced menu."
I thought this was more substantial than just VPN pass through.
Am I wrong?
Cheers
