When I press the &quot;On&quot; button, my Epson Stylus Photo RX500's buttons for &quot;Copy&quot; and &quot;Setup&quot; will light up, but they will turn off in a couple of seconds. It will not do ANYTHING else - and the message center will not even light up.<br />

Any ideas? Is this even worth trying to get fixed or should I just buy another one? It is not our primary printer; We just use it for the scanner and printing some photos.<br />

Disclaimer, I do not use this printer that often, and I did not have it plugged into a power strip. So it is possible that the problem may be due to a power surge.

Epson Stylus Photo RX500 Printer / Scanner will not work

Peripherals

An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.
