Wordpress Plugin Issue - YD Recent Posts with qTranslate

I seem to be having an issue with a Wordpress plugin I'm using called YD Recent Post (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yd-recent-posts-widget/). Essentially what the plugin does is it displays your site's most recent posts with a thumbnail in a sidebar.

Now, the issue I'm having deals with another plugin I'm using called qTranslate (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/). This plugin allows me to create multilingual content on my site which can be toggled on the front-end. So when I create a post, I am given two fields for the title and the text (one for each language). You can see a screenshot below to get an idea of what I mean.

The issue that I have is that whenever I toggle from one language to the next on the front-end, the YD Recent Post widget does not toggle with the rest of the site content and remains the same language (even though the posts displayed with the widget have a French equivalent).

On the qTranslate plugin support forum, they have a small tutorial on how you can alter the code of most plugins to allow for multilanguage content. You can find the post here: http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=294&sid=1bbb6e1762afd1a8fe83c2ab28e87ca8

I have looked through the code of the YD Recent Posts plugin and have tried some of the methods mentioned on the qTranslate support forum but haven't been able to figure it out.

If anyone has any suggestions, I can really use the help. Thanks!

I discovered what the problem is!

Apparently, the plugin was displaying the recent posts that were pulled from my cache. So instead of flipping over the French, it would just continue to display the English that was stored in my cache.

Basically I just needed to go into the plugin code and disable the ability to store to cache.
