How to convert scanned copy to Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

I need a free software that can work on windowsXP and can convert scanned copies of documents into PDF format.

I would need a free software to do that.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

PDFCreator.

Install it and it will install a "pdf printer".  You can then open your scanned documents and choose to "print" them to the pdf creator.  A dialogue box will then appear asking for a save location and file name and will then "print" them out to pdf files.
